The service can be started and stopped but I cannot get files to sync unless I start up the local copy on the desktop while logged in. Also updated the service to interact with desktop. Switched off the preferences “Show desktop notifications” and “Start Dropbox on system startup”. The service has been created okay using srvany and I've created a parameters key and two strings within on the registry for the Application and AppDirectory but when started the files are not syncing. Recently tried to set up Dropbox to run as a service on a virtual Windows XP machine using the various guides on the net.
